Operational interface to the real estate market
IVG has introduced a simplification of its corporate structure combined with a clear focus on its core business. To this end Asset Management will in future not only be acting as a competence centre for the IVG Investment and IVG Funds divisions, but also for the Development segment.
Altogether, IVG Asset Management currently manages some 750 properties with a total floor space of around 6.0 million m² and a market value of approximately €16.0 billion.
Asset Management is responsible for professionally managing the properties held by IVG in its own portfolio and in funds, and for buying and selling single properties and real estate portfolios.
Buying and selling transactions in Germany are carried out by the branch offices with the support of the central IVG Asset Management in Frankfurt THE SQUAIRE. Transactions outside Germany are carried out centrally by the respective local branch office of each country.
That makes IVG Asset Management the main operational interface to the real estate market.

The key role of IVG Asset Management is to increase the value of IVG's managed real estate portfolios. To leverage increases in the value and the returns focuses on revitalising properties, achieving sustainable increases in rental income, raising effective occupancy and leveraging the reserves inherent in building regulations.
The European branch network ensures close contact with our customers, tenants and investors as well as our properties and the markets. In addition to reliable processing, this enables us to identify value creation potential and to boost this optimally.
In addition, IVG Asset Management also provides services for institutional investors (pension funds, etc.). IVG Asset Management increases the value of their portfolios by providing professional support and carrying out targeted transactions.
Furthermore, the review and implementation of merger and acquisition activities within the IVG Group and the identification of new markets and market trends also belong to the tasks of IVG Asset Management.
