Cavern information center Etzel
Th caverns site of IVG Immobilien AG in Etzel has strategic implications for the supply guarantee in Germany. Amongst others, parts of the German Federal Oil Reserve are stored in Etzel.
Nevertheless, the public takes a critical view on the current cavern project: Some expect important changes to the region and the landscape.
We take care of people worried and strengthen our dialog with the local citizens.

This website is our information room about our cavern field in Etzel. It is made for quick orientation and provides profound informationen about our cavern site. The website addresses to the local residents as well as to the general public. It provides you with recent and transparent issues concerning our activities in Etzel.
Additionally, we have opened a telephone line for the local citizens, and we have set up an e-mail address. Both serve to contact our specialists and let them know your questions and worries. The public phone is open from Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. , and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
